Because we work out of several local warehouses it usually takes us a week to ship. If there is a hold up on your order we will usually let you know, though you can not begin to imagine the number of e-mails and phone messages we respond to every day. Rusty Pickle is always out of something and often won't answer their phones. We have had Rusty Pickle orders take 5 months to ship but we'll try to keep you posted in those cases. Because of their out of stock conditions we do not even try to keep up on what is in stock and what is not on our site information. Even our inventory becomes depleted when they are out of something. The only other option is Currently their out of stock condition includes stamps and many stickers. We spend several hours every day working on backorders. Some days we are focused on just shipping as much as we can and other days on returning messages. We aren't intentionally ignoring you. We have just had to accept that fact that every order is important to every customer and that if the owners don't set a 10 hour limit on most days there will be no sleeping. Sorry.
Please do not phone in your order unless you have no other possibility. We are not staffed to handle phone orders. Our shopping cart and on line bank are secure and we have NEVER had any credit card information get out with this cart or bank. Only the 2 owners have access to your credit card information and we are very careful. We shred everything with personal infomation on it except the original hard copy of your order. None of our employees (though we do trust them) ever see it unless we have to write it on a piece of paper like with a phone order. Our store and cart are online. Every order, even phone orders, go through online. If you have heard horror stories about identity theft because of the internet we would encourage you not to apply for cheap loans, buy low cost prescriptions, or frequent online casinos or worse and never send personal information via e-mail. We take every precaution to preserve your privacy and personal information. We wish we could always shop with companies who are as conscientious about this as we are.
